Greenbury Point Ride

This past Sunday my wife and I rode the Greenbury Point Conservation Area loop trail (tower road), located on the Naval Station base in Annapolis. This area is well known for the tall communication towers visible from the Chesapeake Bay at the mouth of the Severn River. I visit this trail often… It is perfect for walking, biking and fishing. There is a nature center with bathrooms, which is sometimes open. The trail may be closed occasionally for Navy training exercises.

I created the paintings below at Greenbury while sitting along the shore. These are nice spots to bring a chair and read, fish and for me, paint or draw.

If you visit soon for the first time, or enjoy this area too, let us know what you think on the Maryland Outdoor Life Facebook page.
